Human Resource Certification and Recertification Credits...Online On-Demand
Are you a human resources professional who has earned the PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification? If so, you are among an elite group with the human resources industry.
HR certification is a career-long commitment that proves to your peers and your organization that you are driven to be successful in HR management. Maintaining your HR credentials can:
- Increase your professional confidence and opportunities
- Set you apart from your HR peers
- Lead to greater respect from the organization in which you work
Maintaining Your Certification
?When you became HR certified - whether it was this year, last year or a number of years ago – you demonstrated your support of the HR profession and your personal commitment to excellence in the field.
In addition to keeping up with trends and best practices, recertification demonstrates your continued dedication to stay current with the rapid changes within the human resources profession.
To retain your PHR, SPHR or GPHR designation, the HR Certification Institute requires you to recertify every three years. Recertifying means you have accumulated 60 hours of education over three years, through continuing education, instruction, on-the-job experience, research and publishing, leadership activities, or membership in a national or international professional organization, or by retaking the examination. If you have the SPHR designation, 15 of your recertification hours must be in the area of strategic management.
These courses will be available in March 2010. If you would like to be notified when course registration is open, please email kelly@hrbrainbank.com and in the subject line type “Recertification”. We will contact you by email when registration opens.
